We went to Heiligenkreuz Monastery today.
This is the cloister,
the well house.
This is the tomb of the last one of the House of Babenberg (+ 1246).
What a nice romanesque nave!
Here are some grisaille windows.
The top ones are 13th century,
the bottom ones late 19th century.
But the real kicker is the gothic choir.
This is called a hall church and very uniquely Austrian.
Too much Art History?

We ran into my godmother's sister Fritzi and her husband Kurt.
Then we went to Meierei Füllenberg.
This is like going back to 1769.
They have old Austrian interiors.
Then we went to have some fun at the lift.
